SPiDR introduces WebRTC capabilities into GENBAND' s cloud-ready EXPERiUS™ solution, and offers GENCom for Web, a browser-based WebRTC soft-client that simplifies the deployment of communications services. With GENCom for Web, there are no OS specific clients or mobile applications to deploy, drastically reducing both the CAPEX and OPEX costs related to VoIP services for consumers and businesses. Designed using HTML5, GENCom for Web provides a multimedia user experience and replicates the full suite of GENCom client functionality in the browser, allowing subscribers to easily access their services from any web-capable device. Additionally, GENCom for Web offers a consistent look and feel, so usability is not compromised.
